First, the honest definition
An affiliate link is a tracking route, not a different sale.
In general, an affiliate link contains information that lets a business or network recognise where a visit came from. On Sell Any Mobile, some recycler links use that infrastructure to connect the seller’s route with a device the recycler later confirms it received.
The word affiliate can suggest retail commission. That is not our model. We do not sell products, take payment from the seller or earn a percentage of a purchase. Our flat £5 fee follows a successfully received device, while the user’s agreement to sell is made directly with the independent recycler.

How attribution works
One transparent route from comparison to a completed outcome.
No step makes Sell Any Mobile the buyer, and no fee is triggered merely by viewing an offer or clicking a link.
A direct or network route records the introduction.
Where network tracking is used, the commercial route is identified before engagement where required.
The independent recycler confirms the device arrived.
Inspection, final offer and payment remain under that recycler’s own terms.
The recycler owes Sell Any Mobile a flat fee.
The fee is not added to or deducted from the seller’s price.

What the relationship never buys
Commercial connection stops at attribution.
Every recycler remains responsible for its own price, terms, inspection, service and payment. A direct integration and an affiliate-network connection enter the same comparison discipline.
No preferential placement
A recycler cannot pay through an affiliate arrangement for a better ranking, a more favourable description or a hidden advantage.
No change to the offer
The £5 recycler fee is separate from the seller’s price. It is never added as a checkout charge or deducted by Sell Any Mobile.
No control of the transaction
Postage, inspection, revised offers, acceptance, returns and payment are matters between the seller and recycler.
Why fund comparison this way
Recyclers pay for a real arrival, not a hopeful click.

A consumer can search, compare and return without paying us anything. A recycler is not charged for a lead that never sends a device or an order that never arrives. That keeps the commercial event narrow, measurable and connected to a genuine outcome.
It also means the route is not an endorsement. The seller still needs to consider the recycler’s current terms, service information and suitability before proceeding.
Disclosure belongs near the decision
This page gives the full picture. It is not a licence to hide the commercial route elsewhere.
Where a specific comparison result or outbound link is affiliate-connected and its commercial nature would not otherwise be obvious, the relevant route should be identifiable before the person engages with it. A general footer disclosure cannot correct a misleading impression at the point of choice.
